Alrighty Adventurers!!! The 2024 season is upon us, and I have plans. Big Plans!!
You may or may not know me, but I’ve been around the BC riding community for a few years now. I’m newer to motos, but I’ve been a backcountry explorer since I was in grade school. I've been a map geek all my life and back in 2020 I put together Ride the Kootenays to publish all the cool stuff to ride between the Rockies and the Okanagan. This year is going to be a bit different, I’m taking the show on the road! I’m building out an Isuzu box truck into an overlander and mobile store! I’ll be coming to a moto event near (or far!) you all summer long as well as hosting a bunch of my own Intro to Moto-Camping weekends. The riding community has been so welcoming and supportive, it’s time to give back where I can! With a lifetime of backcountry knowledge, as well as a career in Outdoor Retail selling and designing equipment, I find myself with much I can share.
So, how the heck am I going to live the dream summer and do nothing but travel around, camp and ride bikes? Well, I’m a dirtbag. Always have been (from my climbing days) and always will be. Soooooo, I’m jumping in with both feet and trying to make it all work as a traveling salesman and instructor. I’m also the head mapping geek with the new EPIC Gps Adventures non-profit and will be showing off currently published routes and creating new routes too!
