Why did we name the group “Sea to Sky”?

Three old friends from Quesnel BC were reconnected at the beginning of the Pandemic.
In order to escape from the confines of the lockdown, these three gentlemen decided to create a new Facebook Group focused on promoting the sport, with an focus on inclusivity and the exploration of ten's of thousands of miles of Forest Service Roads located around British Columbia.
The name of the club - “Sea to Sky Adventure Motorcycle Group” - actually never had a vision which would confine the group to the area known as the “Sea to Sky Corridor” (Vancouver - Sqaumish - Whistler - Pemberton).
The name was chosen as the majority of the original members live in the Lower Mainland ("The Sea") and our goal was to escape to the areas far north and east of Vancouver ("The Sky").
The name S2SADV just stuck, and over the span of 3 years we have gained more than 2,500 members, and hosted more than 20 Group Rides, Events, Clinics, Socials and Holiday parties.
We are glad you decided to join this special group.
